Our club is based within Glasgow International Airport (GLA:EGPF). This means we are ideally placed to serve the entire west coast and central Scotland. Only minutes from the city centre and less than an hours flight time to the small isles and highlands.
Ground Crew
At Glasgow Airport (EGPF), the ground staff support both flying club and commercial aircraft operations. They are dedicated to ensuring the safety and efficiency of all flight activities. The airport’s airfield operations team conducts thorough runway and taxiway inspections, promptly addressing any hazards to maintain optimal conditions for all.
ILS Cat III
This high-precision approach and landing system allows for automatic landings in very low visibility conditions, down to runway visual range (RVR) of less than 200 meters. It provides both lateral and vertical guidance to the aircraft, ensuring a safe landing approach even in adverse weather.
ATC / AWOS
Our club enjoys a strong and collaborative relationship with the NATS ATC professionals. This partnership ensures seamless communication and coordination, allowing for smooth integration of our club’s flight operations alongside commercial traffic.
